About The Position

ChemTreat’s water-treatment sales support role focuses on maintaining and expanding assigned customer accounts while maximizing their profitability. The representative recommends and applies basic water-treatment applications and solutions, performs water testing and measurements, documents findings, and communicates quantitative results and program updates to ChemTreat Account Managers and customers. The role requires professional, high-quality customer and technical service, technical knowledge of water treatment, and the ability to work with limited supervision.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science; an engineering or technical degree is preferred.
3–5 years of experience in water treatment, chemical, or adjacent industries.
Technical and analytical skills.
Communication, interpersonal, teamwork, and leadership skills.
Advanced problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of the company’s product portfolio and applications.
Ability to work with limited supervision.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to learn new operating systems.
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) or equivalent skills.

Nice To Haves

Engineering or technical degree.

Responsibilities

Perform water analysis and advanced problem-solving to select chemical solutions and monitor treatment effects.
Perform services required by contractual obligations.
Calibrate pumps and repair equipment to restore chemical feeds.
Monitor product feed rates and their impact on water samples, adjusting treatment programs when gaps are detected.
Provide technical guidance and instruction to junior technicians.
Enter results into software and communicate findings through service reports.
Assist with water-related system improvement projects.
Monitor product inventories.
Use and maintain company equipment in good, clean condition.
Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
