About The Position

At Resideo, the Account Manager Trade (m/f) is responsible for achieving revenue growth and margin targets within a defined portfolio of trade accounts, including installers, housing associations, consultants and wholesalers. In this role, you report directly to the Country Sales Leader Netherlands & Managing Director. You play an important role in strengthening long-term customer relationships and expanding Resideo's presence in the Dutch market - Central and East region in the Netherlands. You will be part of a high-performing, customer-focused, and highly motivated sales team, driven by commercial excellence, sustainable growth, and profitability. Together, the team works with passion and professionalism to deliver value to customers and exceed business objectives.

Requirements

At least 5 years of demonstrable experience in a sales or key account management role, preferably within a relevant technical or trade-driven sector.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to manage complex decision-making units (DMUs) and build strategic, long-term relationships.
Ability to optimize organizational results and operate effectively within a matrix organization in an advisory, coaching, and guiding manner.
Ability to achieve results through the effective transfer of sales strategies, plans and management reports.
Valid driving license and willingness to travel regularly within the Netherlands.
Works from a strong personal commitment to foster an excellent team spirit within the department, with fellow sales colleagues and, above all, with customers.
Ability to provide commercially and technically sound advice that creates value for customers and supports sustainable growth.
Professional attitude characterized by enthusiasm, flexibility, reliability and strong commercial insight.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Dutch and English.

Nice To Haves

Strong understanding of the Dutch market and related sectors such as HVAC and electrical engineering.
Willingness to represent the organization at customer events, trade fairs and networking activities, including occasional participation outside regular working hours, such as weekends.

Responsibilities

Identify growth opportunities and proactively analyze competitive threats to protect and strengthen Resideo's market position in the Netherlands.
Formulate improvements in product/market combinations and position the organization and its products in the market, with a focus on the development and profitability of the product portfolio.
Initiate and develop strategic partnerships with key large-scale organizations across the Netherlands to drive long-term growth and market penetration.
Set clear sales and marketing objectives, translate them into concrete action plans and ensure accurate regional sales forecasts.
Ensure alignment with management objectives and business priorities.
Manage and monitor sales activities and performance, identify and resolve bottlenecks in the sales process, and address operational challenges that affect results.
Support the sales team in building valuable customer contacts that form the foundation for profitable and sustainable relationships.
Build and maintain relationships with major accounts and prospects.
Evaluate sales and marketing performance against objectives.
Analyze trends and identify causes of deviations.
Formulate improvements in product sales and marketing.
