We are in business to help our customers succeed! The Account Manager will oversee the expansion of an existing territory by visiting regions to meet the needs of potential customers. Strong negotiation skills, a strategic mindset, and experience collaborating cross-departmentally are required. This position is best suited for someone with plumbing/HVAC sales experience and a deep understanding of account and territory management. This job posting is for an existing vacancy. Requirements

  • Completion of College Diploma, University Degree or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, problem solving, and communication skills to effectively build positive relationships with team members and customers
  • Attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines and work effectively within time constraints
  • Ability to thrive in a performance-focused and results-oriented environment
  • Business acumen and strong consultative selling skills
  • Proven negotiation skills
  • Exceptional communication skills, active listening, and presentation skills
  • Valid Ontario Driver’s License with consistent access to a personal vehicle

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in sales and/or customer service is a strong asset
  • Technical plumbing and/or HVAC knowledge
  • Experience using Word, Excel, and Outlook is an asset
  • Bilingualism is considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Strong understanding of market and industry trends in relation to global and local supply chains, as well as new product innovations
  • Demonstrates a strong focus on prospecting and developing new accounts to build and grow the territory
  • Provides professional, effective, and efficient solutions to customers
  • Prepares and provides quotations, technical support, literature, and other materials to customers
  • Participates in setting branch sales objectives and is accountable for achieving sales results (e.g., revenue, gross margin, account targets)
  • Develops long-lasting relationships with key vendor partners
  • Able to balance pricing competitiveness with growth objectives
  • Proactively communicates with Management and Operations on all aspects of customer relationships to set appropriate expectations consistent with contract terms and address any issues immediately
  • Provides feedback and recommendations on new products, services, and market conditions to customers and PC management
  • Participates in trade shows, training, and related product meetings (where appropriate)
  • Assists the Inside Sales Team with incoming calls and inquiries
  • Performs other job-related duties as required

  • The base salary for this position is $60,000 - $70,000 + car allowance and comission.
