About The Position

Account Managers ensure clients receive the service needed to properly manage their personal insurance policies. The role facilitates effective relationships with clients, insurance carrier staff, and the team, and serves as a point of contact for a book of personal lines accounts. The position is hybrid and requires three days per week in the office. HUB provides licensing support, including paying for the employee to obtain a property and casualty license within the first 90 days if they do not already hold one.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Confidence and demeanor to interact effectively with all levels within the organization and with clients.
• Ability to work with a computer, including Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.

Nice To Haves

• College education is preferred.
• An existing property and casualty license; HUB will pay for employees without one to obtain it within their first 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Manage a book of personal lines accounts.
• Market accounts to insurance carriers.
• Prepare quotes and proposals.
• Respond promptly to policy inquiries by email and phone.
• Maintain renewal controls on expirations and binders.
• Check policies, endorsements, and audits for accuracy.
• Maintain accurate and organized account files.
• Facilitate effective relationships with clients, insurance carrier staff, and the team.
