Ashland Specialty Ingredients, GP is seeking an Account Manager for its Microbial Protection Business Line within Ashland’s Personal Care business in the US. This is a significant and visible role within Ashland and the personal care business. The position will report to the General Manager, Personal Care, NA. The role involves managing the Microbial Protection business and customer interface in North America, applying the Microbial Protection strategy to assigned accounts, and delivering the business plan for the territory, including sales volume, revenues, and profits. The Account Manager will present, promote, and sell products to existing and new customers, identify new business opportunities, and develop strong partnerships with customers, market influencers, and other relevant partners to generate leads and brand recognition. The role requires proactively seeking information about customer strategies and product launches, coordinating project activities with customers, and cooperating with Technical Experts to ensure customer needs are met. The Account Manager will also contribute insights and guidelines to the regional strategy and account plan and implement them accordingly.
