About The Position

The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is a remote outside sales position on the Morning Pride sales team, covering Colorado, Wyoming, Idaho, Montana, Washington, Oregon, and Alaska. The role works with distribution partners and end users to showcase and educate customers about the product portfolio, increase market share, and grow the territory. It involves regular product demonstrations, specification writing, support for contract bids, firefighter sizing, and providing sales expertise and timely assistance to customers and distribution.

Requirements

• Be highly self-motivated and consistently seek to expand market share and grow the territory.
• Have public-speaking and presentation skills for customer-facing presentations as needed.
• Have proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Have strong multitasking, critical problem-solving, timely customer-response, and scheduling-flexibility skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or another CRM.

Responsibilities

• Work with distribution partners and end users in the sales territory to showcase and educate customers about the product portfolio and increase market share.
• Perform new product demonstrations for end users on a weekly basis.
• Write specifications for fire departments, independently or in partnership with a distributor.
• Provide insight and resources for contracts going through a bid process in the territory.
• Size firefighters as needed using premanufactured sizing sets and/or a tape measure.
• Provide expertise and resources to distribution partners and end users to move business forward in a timely manner.
