About The Position

Alliance Ground International (AGI) is a large, independently owned ground handling company serving numerous airlines across the U.S. and Canada. We are seeking an Account Manager to manage, direct, and coordinate all activities related to ground operations. This role involves ensuring contract and regulatory compliance, customer satisfaction, and maintaining high standards of quality service and safety. The Account Manager will oversee training, develop policies, monitor performance indicators, conduct investigations, and build relationships with stakeholders.

  • Associates degree from college or university; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid US driver’s license.
  • Successful completion of required airport badging process.

Responsibilities

  • Managing, directing, and coordinating all activities relating to ground operations.
  • Coordinating with Company personnel, customers, third-party service providers, and government agencies to ensure contract/regulatory compliance and customer satisfaction.
  • Conducting periodic audits on all Company ground operations.
  • Producing, revising, and distributing departmental training aids, directives, reports, forms, memos, and departmental manuals.
  • Ensuring all personnel involved in Company ground operations and/or ground handling of Company aircraft are properly trained.
  • Evaluating training and performance records of employees to determine and formulate training designed to increase employee efficiency, safety, and ensure compliance with all Company and governmental regulations.
  • Maintaining the Hazardous Materials Training Program for all applicable employees.
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures for the safe and efficient handling of GSE equipment.
  • Leading by example to deliver consistently great service to customers.
  • Ensuring compliance with all Company safety and security procedures to meet/exceed regulatory standards.
  • Maintaining, monitoring, and reporting on agreed key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Conducting full investigations on irregularities, accidents, or complaints as per standard reporting requirements.
  • Driving consistency and standards by ensuring clear communications at all levels on operational policies and procedures.
  • Ensuring all agreed training is completed and documented.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, internal and external.
  • Resolving issues/conflicts in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring efficient operation of inbound and outbound flights.
  • Conducting oneself in such a way as to promote and drive integrity, fairness, personal attitude, and respect for others.
  • Meeting the Station's attendance policy.
  • Carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws, including interviewing, hiring, training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding employees; addressing complaints and resolving issues.
