About The Position

A. Duie Pyle is a family-owned business established in 1924, offering integrated transportation and distribution solutions across the Northeast. They leverage a network of LTL service centers, warehouses, and dedicated locations to provide flexible and tailored supply chain solutions. The Dedicated Account Manager will manage customer accounts, recruit drivers, and develop comprehensive solutions for the Dedicated Division, which serves as a regional truckload alternative within the Northeast.

Requirements

• Previous transportation management experience in a dedicated environment preferred
• Experience with load planning and driver management
• Proficiency with computers, including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook, etc.)
• Ability to be on-call during driver work hours
• Understanding and knowledge of DOT regulations
• Effective communication and customer service skills with the ability to represent the Company in a positive, professional manner
• Strong organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Coordinating and managing scheduling for a dedicated customer
• Being available and on call for Pyle driver and customer needs
• Building dynamic routing using our routing software
• Optimizing the schedule daily and or as needed
• Holding an onsite presence at the customer’s location(s) – build and develop a strong relationship
• Partnering with sales and customer service to schedule deliveries; working cross-functionally within Pyle to service the account and grow the business
