About The Position

A. Duie Pyle, a family-owned business since 1924, offers integrated transportation and distribution solutions throughout the Northeast. The Dedicated Division provides a regional truckload alternative, helping businesses achieve their supply chain goals. The Dedicated Account Manager will manage customer accounts, hire drivers, and develop full-service solutions, ensuring outstanding customer service.

Requirements

• Previous transportation management experience in a dedicated environment preferred
• Experience with load planning and driver management
• Proficiency with computers, including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook, etc.)
• Ability to be on-call during driver work hours
• Understanding and knowledge of DOT regulations
• Effective communication and customer service skills with the ability to represent the Company in a positive, professional manner
• Strong organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Coordinating and managing scheduling for a dedicated customer
• Being available and on call for Pyle driver and customer needs
• Building dynamic routing using our routing software
• Optimizing the schedule daily and or as needed
• Holding an onsite presence at the customer’s location(s) – build and develop a strong relationship
• Partnering with sales and customer service to schedule deliveries; working cross-functionally within Pyle to service the account and grow the business
