About The Position

The Account Manager, Commercial HVAC will be responsible for promoting positive relationships with clients to assure procurement of future business, and profitability and support the growth of Refrigerative Supply and its Commercial HVAC products.

Requirements

  • Relevant work experience or post-secondary graduate with a P.Eng, CET, Diploma.
  • Ability to read and review mechanical drawings and schedules.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license in good standing.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of effective selling methods.
  • Energetic, self-motivated, creative thinker and effective communication skills.
  • Accuracy, attention to detail, problem-solving skills and analytical ability.
  • Good understanding of computer and productivity software.
  • Team player who works well with a wide range of people in a high pace environment.
  • Possesses knowledge of HVAC systems and the ability to demonstrate and discuss with customers.
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and support new and existing customer base.
  • Establish systematic customer contact to provide ongoing information on new equipment and systems according to an approved schedule in consultation with the Branch Manager.
  • Establish strong relationships with Engineers.
  • Develop multiple relationships with key players in customer operations.
  • Perform market analysis to ascertain current opportunities and to identify customer needs and uses.
  • Create and implement strategies for sales growth.
  • Attend sales/product meetings and study and learn about new products.
  • Conduct presentations with customers and engineers as required.
  • Maintain sales volume and gross profit level at target levels or better.
  • Frequent customers visit to identify new opportunities, address concerns and conduct follow-ups.
  • Maintain records of sales, customer information, and requests.
  • Collaborate with other staff to provide assistance and support.
  • Participate in annual inventory count.
  • Travel as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or as required.
