About the position
As an Account Manager at our award-winning tech consultancy, you will play a crucial role in expanding our client base and driving sustainable growth. Working closely with our sales team, you will identify and secure relationships with qualified targets and decision makers, develop effective sales strategies, and manage existing client accounts. With a focus on technology and services, you will have the opportunity to sell a range of work packages and stay up to date on market trends to better serve our customers' needs. This role offers a base salary of $75,000-$85,000 per year plus bonus.
Responsibilities
- Play an integral role in expanding the client base and growing the practice
- Secure relationships with qualified targets and decision makers to identify opportunities
- Develop effective sales strategies and manage existing client accounts
- Sell various types of work packages, from consulting engagements to digital transformation and managed services
- Identify potential customers and generate new business opportunities
- Contact and qualify potential customers
- Manage leads through the sales pipeline and track progress towards revenue targets
- Negotiate business contract terms and conditions with clients
- Stay up to date on market trends and evolve services to better meet customer needs
- Bring significant business development experience within the technology or services sector
- Have an existing network of contacts and proven ability to identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities
- Demonstrate collaborative working at every level in the organization
- Possess broad knowledge of the technology industry and experience within a leading consultancy
- Develop and strengthen peer-to-peer level relationships
Requirements
- Significant business development experience in the technology or services sector
- Existing network of contacts
- Proven ability to identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate at every level in the organization
- Broad knowledge of the technology industry
- Experience within the technology industry, preferably within a leading consultancy
- Ability to develop and strengthen peer-to-peer level relationships
