Requirements

  • 3+ years of sales experience in HVAC, mechanical contracting, or related technical fields.
  • A proven track record of developing new business and expanding customer relationships.
  • Exceptional at building relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Skilled at preparing and presenting effective sales proposals.
  • Detail-oriented when managing in-progress projects (forecasting and billing, cost and risk management, quality assurance, etc.).
  • A go-getter and problem-solver who takes ownership of results.

Nice To Haves

  • A degree in Marketing, Mechanical Engineering, or another related technical field.

Responsibilities

  • Form in-depth partnerships with customers to provide tailored solutions for building comfort and efficiency.
  • Handle projects requiring ongoing HVAC maintenance contracts or quick-turnaround tenant improvements within the Service Special Projects Department.
  • Build and grow the region’s portfolio by developing strong relationships and pursuing retrofit and tenant improvement opportunities.
  • Generate approximately $1.5M–$2.5M in sold project revenue in the first year.
  • Establish a qualified pipeline for $4M+ in annual revenue for subsequent years.
  • Collaborate closely with estimating, engineering, and operations teams to deliver high-value proposals and maintain strong close ratios.
  • Build strong, lasting partnerships with customers and anticipate their needs.
  • Perform project management duties, including cost and risk management, quality assurance, and timely delivery.
