About The Position

Grand Canyon Education (GCE) is seeking a motivated Account Executive to oversee the Lake County, IL territory. This is a unique community-based opportunity where you will play an integral role in providing Grand Canyon University students the roadmap for success from application through to completion of the first few classes. The role involves identifying and implementing event/activity plans, building awareness of online academic programs, driving inquiry generation, shaping high impact partnerships, and providing exceptional counseling to prospective students, their families, and partners. This is a remote role with ambitious targets, requiring independent work and critical thinking to support students through the admissions process and guide them towards a successful online learning experience.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree required.
• No delinquent or in default on a federal student loan as verified in your credit report. If in a rehabilitation program, your credit report must reflect that you are current, not delinquent, on your payments.
• Outstanding time management skills.
• Clear communication skills (in person, in writing, and on the phone).
• Well developed listening skills.
• Self-motivation and drive to succeed.
• High emotional intelligence.
• Ability to demonstrate empathy.
• A valid driver's license, reliable transportation and a flexible schedule.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to use personal vehicle for work.
• Computer literacy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.

Responsibilities

• Consistently identifying and implementing event/activity plans for your territory.
• Building awareness of our online academic programs for education, healthcare and business and drive inquiry generation.
• Shaping high impact partnerships for your territory.
• Executing daily work through informational presentations, calls and emails, iterating as needed to maximize value.
• Providing exceptional counseling to prospective students, their families and partners through a variety of mediums.
• Championing the GCE mission, promoting Grand Canyon University student success and institutional growth.
• Using out-of-the-box critical thinking skills to support prospective Grand Canyon University students through the admissions process, guiding them on the right path towards a successful online learning experience.
