About The Position

Grand Canyon Education (GCE) is seeking a motivated Account Executive to oversee the Baltimore, MD. territory. This is a unique community-based opportunity within a rapidly growing educational service company that supports the post-secondary education sector. The role involves helping Grand Canyon University students succeed by guiding them from application through the completion of their first few classes. This is a remote role with ambitious targets, requiring independent work and critical thinking to support prospective students through the admissions process and towards a successful online learning experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• No delinquent or in default on a federal student loan as verified in credit report; if in rehabilitation program, credit report must reflect current payments.
• Outstanding time management skills and ability to prioritize competing priorities, even while traveling.
• Clear communication skills (in person, writing, phone) and well-developed listening skills.
• Self-motivation and drive to succeed; willingness to volunteer for new challenges and take ownership.
• High emotional intelligence and ability to demonstrate empathy.
• A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a flexible schedule, including potential evening and/or weekend availability for events.
• Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Identifying and implementing event/activity plans for the territory to build awareness of online academic programs in education, healthcare, and business, and to drive inquiry generation.
• Shaping high-impact partnerships for the territory and executing daily work through informational presentations, calls, and emails.
• Providing exceptional counseling to prospective students, their families, and partners through various mediums (in-person, phone, email).
• Championing the GCE mission and promoting Grand Canyon University student success and institutional growth.
• Supporting prospective Grand Canyon University students through the admissions process and guiding them towards a successful online learning experience.
