About The Position

Grand Canyon Education (GCE) is seeking a motivated Account Executive to oversee the Lorain City, OH territory. This is a unique community-based opportunity where you will play an integral role in providing Grand Canyon University students the roadmap for success from application through to completion of the first few classes. The role involves identifying and implementing event/activity plans for your territory, building awareness of online academic programs, and driving inquiry generation. You will shape high impact partnerships and execute daily work through presentations, calls, and emails. You will also provide exceptional counseling to prospective students, their families, and partners, championing the GCE mission and promoting student success and institutional growth. This is a remote role with ambitious targets, requiring independent work and critical thinking to support prospective students through the admissions process and guide them towards a successful online learning experience.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree required.
• No delinquent or in default on a federal student loan as verified in your credit report. If in a rehabilitation program, your credit report must reflect that you are current, not delinquent, on your payments.
• Outstanding time management skills.
• Clear communication skills (in person, written, and phone).
• Well-developed listening skills.
• Self-motivation and drive to succeed.
• High emotional intelligence.
• Ability to demonstrate empathy.
• A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a flexible schedule.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to use personal vehicle for work.
• Computer literacy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
