About The Position

As a result of our recent growth, we are hiring an Account Executive based in Toronto, Ontario. This is a hybrid role, you will be required in the office 3 days a week with occasional travels. The Account Executive will partner with our executive team to develop and execute go-to-market strategies that generate opportunities and drive revenue by effectively positioning Carbon60 across the Canadian market and beyond. In this role, you will identify and pursue new business aligned to our core strengths in high-performance managed hosting, sovereign cloud, and secure private infrastructure, while building and managing a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities. Success will come from driving growth through both direct sales and strategic channel partnerships. The ideal candidate is confident navigating the full sales cycle, with the ability to identify, develop, and close new opportunities through both direct and indirect sales motions. This team member must be successful at striking a balance between consistently delivering results against targets and forging new relationships to expand Carbon60’s eco-system.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 to 5 years’ experience in strategic solutions selling in the cloud consulting, managed services and/or AI space.
  • Have knowledge and interest in the cloud consulting/data transformation industry and related technologies.
  • Disciplined sales approach to prospect, qualify and close sales opportunities.
  • A high degree of business acumen and integrity.
  • A trusted network of relationships with companies offering services complementary to Carbon60’s solutions.
  • Ability to forge trusted relationships through strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, listening and negotiation skills.
  • Highly organized.
  • Comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment, with a roll up your sleeves, get it done attitude.
  • Self-motivated and driven to succeed.
  • Energy and enthusiasm that engages people around you.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with key decision-makers to deliver Carbon60’s specialized managed solutions, with a focus on high-compute requirements like GPU-accelerated workloads and AI-ready infrastructure.
  • Develop a go-to-market strategy that will expand Carbon60’s reach within the assigned territory.
  • Be accountable for consistently delivering quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Partner with marketing to develop campaigns, events and promotional programs to drive sales opportunities.
  • Maintain and up-sell existing and enterprise-level accounts.
  • Craft professional written responses for prospective customer requests for quotes, proposals, complex bids.
  • Evangelize the Carbon60 message to your targets/partners and bring feedback to evolve strategy and services.
