About The Position

The Account Executive is responsible for driving new business through consultative selling, needs-based discovery, and relationship development with small to mid-market businesses. This role partners closely with marketing, implementation, and client success teams to ensure a seamless client experience from first conversation through onboarding. This is a high-impact revenue role with clear earnings potential and real career progression.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of B2B sales experience (SaaS, payroll, HR, or financial services preferred)
  • Strong prospecting, presentation, and closing skills. This is a hunter role.
  • Strong networking skills or an existing referral network of CPA's, Benefit Brokers, or Retirement Advisors
  • Excellent communication and consultative selling abilities
  • High accountability and self-motivation
  • Experience working in a performance-driven environment

Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle - prospecting through close
  • Conduct discovery to understand prospect payroll, HR, and compliance needs
  • Deliver product demonstrations and solution recommendations
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline
  • Collaborate with marketing on lead generation and campaigns
  • Accurately forecast sales activity and revenue
  • Partner with Implementation and Client Success to ensure smooth onboarding
  • Maintain accurate documentation
  • Stay informed on industry trends and competitive landscape
