About The Position

VerTALENTS is a subsidiary of VerSprite Cybersecurity, specializing in technology staffing. They connect top-level technical talent with industry clients through various methods, expanding both clients' talent networks and candidates' job searches. VerTALENTS aims to add value to both clients and candidates. They work with clients to fill both full-time and contracting opportunities. This role is for a driven Account Executive to own new business development at VerSprite. The individual will manage the full sales cycle, build relationships with prospective clients, uncover new business opportunities, and partner with delivery teams to drive exceptional customer experiences. The ideal candidate is a natural networker, relentless prospector, and motivated self-starter who embraces challenges. Requirements

  • 2–4 years of full-cycle B2B sales experience, preferably in technology, cybersecurity, SaaS, or professional services
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field — required
  • Proven track record of cold prospecting and outbound outreach — phone, email, and social
  • Experience running discovery calls, building proposals, and negotiating contracts independently
  • Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding quota
  • Proficiency in HubSpot CRM — pipeline management, sequencing, forecasting, and reporting
  • Strong ability to manage a book of accounts and maintain client relationships post-close
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-moving environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Willingness to travel and represent VerSprite at client meetings and events — including outside of standard business hours when needed

Nice To Haves

  • Background in cybersecurity, IT services, or technical B2B sales
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts such as penetration testing, threat modeling, or compliance frameworks (NIST, PCI-DSS, SOC 2)
  • Experience selling into regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare, or enterprise technology

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage a pipeline of new business through cold prospecting, outbound calling, email outreach, and LinkedIn
  • Run discovery calls independently to uncover prospect pain points, qualify opportunities, and position VerSprite's services
  • Develop and deliver tailored proposals, presentations, and service demonstrations to prospective clients
  • Negotiate contracts and close new business, with senior support available on complex or high-value deals
  • Manage and grow an existing book of accounts — driving retention, upsells, and long-term client satisfaction
  • Forecast accurately and maintain a clean, up-to-date pipeline in HubSpot CRM at all times
  • Meet weekly activity KPIs (outreach volume, calls booked, pipeline generated) and quarterly revenue quota
  • Coordinate with VerSprite's technical delivery teams to ensure smooth handoffs and client expectations are met post-sale
  • Travel to meet clients in person and attend industry events — including conferences and networking functions that may fall outside standard business hours
  • Stay current on the cybersecurity landscape, competitor offerings, and trends relevant to VerSprite's client base
