About The Position

Are you a dynamic sales professional with a passion for building lasting relationships and driving business success? We are seeking an experienced Account Executive (AE) to join our Edmonton Sales team! You will be responsible for servicing an established portfolio of clients while continuing to grow and diversify by delivering top-tier staffing solutions across contract, permanent, and SOW-based roles. You will play a pivotal role in generating gross margin through personal production and maintaining exceptional client and candidate relationships. Requirements

  • Post-Secondary Degree/Diploma
  • 2 + years of experience in business development or B2B sales experience (IT Staffing experience a strong asset)
  • Desire to be in a business development, cold calling and sales role
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to cultivate strong relationships
  • Able to learn new complex ideas in a short time frame
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, prioritizing key activities
  • Has determination, grit and a proven ability to go the extra mile
  • Is confidential, professional, honest and works well both in teams and individually
  • Team oriented and collaborative
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Ability to connect with others through phone, video, social media and in-person meetings

Responsibilities

  • Generate new client relationships, bring in job orders, and execute all sales activities, including market research, lead qualification, and closing deals.
  • Build, manage, and maintain trusted relationships with clients to increase market share by promoting the company’s services.
  • Diagnose clients’ workforce gaps and offer creative staffing solutions by conducting wallet share analysis and presenting qualified candidates.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with contractors/candidates to ensure client satisfaction, resolve performance issues, and extend contracts.
  • Deliver in-person presentations, negotiate terms, and close deals while staying informed of client RFPs and supporting the proposal writing process.
  • Ensure full compliance with company policies, client audits, and maintain accurate reports and activity tracking in the MatchGuide database.
  • Represent the company professionally, demonstrate company values, and stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in staffing and sales.
