About The Position

A growing, ACHC-accredited and state-licensed home health organization is seeking an experienced Account Executive to manage and expand marketing and sales efforts across established territories with an existing book of business. This role is focused on driving referral growth, strengthening payer and provider relationships, and expanding market presence across multiple counties. The ideal candidate is a healthcare sales professional with strong relationship-building skills and experience in home health, post-acute care, or related healthcare services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Minimum 3 years of healthcare marketing or business development experience, preferably in home health or post-acute care
  • Prior experience in sales or account management strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to build and maintain professional referral networks
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills
  • Ability to work independently in a field-based role

Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute daily marketing and business development activities within assigned territories
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with referral sources including hospitals, physicians, skilled nursing facilities, case managers, and discharge planners
  • Negotiate service contracts and reimbursement agreements with managed care organizations, government agencies, and other payers
  • Ensure maximum third-party reimbursement through effective payer engagement and contract negotiation
  • Conduct ongoing market analysis and develop strategic marketing plans aligned with growth targets
  • Support budgeting and forecasting of volume projections in collaboration with leadership
  • Implement marketing initiatives to achieve census and revenue goals
  • Ensure all marketing and sales activities comply with applicable healthcare laws and regulations (including anti-kickback and patient solicitation guidelines)
  • Recruit, train, and oversee members of the marketing/sales team as needed
  • Monitor community and payer perceptions to ensure strong brand reputation and service quality
