Account Executive

MintMCPSan Francisco, CA
Onsite

About The Position

MintMCP helps companies put agents to work safely by building the infrastructure that makes a company's own work runnable by them. Their first product is an MCP gateway that gives agents governed access to company data and tools, ensuring security and auditability. They are an AI-native startup with a flat structure and a fast-moving market, offering significant latitude in how and what employees work on. The company has demonstrated traction since its February 2026 launch, with over 30 paying customers including Coursera, Arlo, and Braze, and is backed by prominent investors and angels. The founders are machine learning experts from top universities with experience at Google Brain and Waymo.

Requirements

  • Owned full-cycle sales for technical infrastructure or security products, selling to AI, security, or engineering buyers.
  • Closed deals in the mid-six figures and up, and consistently beaten targets.
  • Ability to build pipeline from zero, not just work inbound, and demonstrate how opportunities were sourced and created.
  • Experience building an early sales motion (playbook, qualification, forecasting, deal inspection) without extensive infrastructure.
  • Trained in a sales methodology, preferably MEDDIC, and applied with rigor.
  • Experience selling in enterprise or regulated environments with security review, procurement, legal, and multi-threading.
  • Senior individual contributor who still wants to sell and make a meaningful impact without needing a big title.
  • AI-native or ability to become proficient quickly, with credible understanding of AI infrastructure, MCP, and agents.
  • Ability to move fast without excessive process and a preference for building playbooks over inheriting them.

Nice To Haves

  • Security, dev-tools, or infrastructure background.
  • Founding GTM or first-sales-hire experience that grew into a team.
  • Comfort representing the company in the field: conferences, dinners, and in-person meetings with CISOs and AI leaders.
  • Social selling on LinkedIn, or using intent signals to build prospecting lists.

Responsibilities

  • Carry a full book of business: handle high inbound volume, prospect and build your own pipeline, run discovery and POCs, navigate security review and procurement, close, and expand the account.
  • Sell to senior technical buyers, often the CTO, CISO, or Head of AI.
  • Help build the early sales motion: qualification, forecasting, deal reviews, and the operating rhythm needed for rigorous selling.
  • Report to the CEO, help decide on hiring, and turn successful strategies into a teachable playbook.
  • Grow into larger, CISO-level enterprise deals and broader sales leadership as the company moves upmarket.
  • Travel to meet customers.

Benefits

  • Competitive base, commission, and significant equity.
  • Full ownership of deals with room to build the motion and grow into leadership.
  • Direct access to the CEO, customers, and product decisions.
  • Health benefits, with a team that prioritizes family and health.
