About The Position

Truckstop is hiring an Account Executive to promote and sell its products and services to customers in the carrier persona. This inside-sales role focuses on upselling and cross-selling to existing customers and serving as a trusted advisor and consultant. All customer interactions take place by phone and email. The role is full-time and in person at Truckstop’s Boise office. The position has a stated base pay range of $24–$24 USD and is eligible for commission based on monthly targets; on-target earnings are $99,840 if all commission is earned.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Experience carrying and attaining a sales quota.
• Exemplify Truckstop’s core values and behaviors.
• Ability to adapt and be an early adopter of change.
• Drive to achieve results.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, including communication with executive and technical audiences.
• Proficiency using multiple software applications simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word) and use of office equipment.

Nice To Haves

• College degree.
• Background in shipping and logistics.
• At least three years of software sales experience, including presenting sales demonstrations to clients, especially by phone.
• Bilingual Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Engage with existing Truckstop customers to cross-sell additional products and services.
• Consult with customers to gather information and recommend products for their businesses.
• Meet sales objectives by selling Truckstop products and services.
• Use multiple computer systems and screens simultaneously to process sales.
• Build and maintain strong customer rapport; consult, multitask, and solve problems with customers.
• Build and maintain a sales pipeline and accurately forecast opportunity outcomes.
• Close sales opportunities at a high rate.
• Participate in weekly discussions with the manager to provide a sales summary.
• Become well-informed about the industry and Truckstop products and services.
