Our flagship platform, MVerify®, automates mortality verification using a broad network of data sources including obituaries, state death registries, SSA databases, and proprietary commercial datasets. This allows organizations to reduce overpayments, prevent fraud, improve compliance, and ensure accurate liability management. Abacus Intel is seeking a high-performing Account Executive responsible for driving new business growth across pension plans, unions, TPAs, insurance carriers, and financial institutions. This is a consultative enterprise sales role focused on helping organizations improve mortality verification, reduce overpayments, enhance compliance, and modernize participant management processes. You will own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close while collaborating closely with leadership and Customer Success to ensure long-term client success.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of B2B sales experience
  • Strong consultative and enterprise sales experience
  • Experience with long sales cycles and complex stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • CRM experience required (Salesforce preferred)

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience selling into pensions, insurance, government, or financial services
  • Experience with SaaS or data-driven service platforms
  • Proven ability to manage and grow client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Own full sales cycle from prospecting through contract execution
  • Develop new business opportunities across assigned verticals
  • Conduct discovery meetings, demos, and executive presentations
  • Build strategic relationships with pension administrators and decision-makers
  • Manage pipeline activity within Salesforce
  • Collaborate with leadership on forecasting and territory strategy
  • Support conference attendance, speaking opportunities, and networking events
  • Identify cross-sell opportunities for bundled solutions
