About The Position
CBS Television Stations–San Francisco is seeking an experienced Account Executive to sell the full Paramount Global portfolio, including, KPIX & KPYX linear television, CBS News & Stations group assets and Paramount+ streaming and multi-platform solutions. The role is focused on linear + streaming ad sales, agency and direct accounts, and integrated, multi-platform campaigns.
Requirements
- 5+ years of sales experience
- Proven track record of exceeding revenue goals
- Strong consultative selling skills
- Agency-facing experience strongly preferred
- Multi-platform (linear + digital/streaming) experience preferred
- Proficiency with WideOrbit Traffic, Wide Orbit Media Sales, Excel, Powerpoint, MS Office
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Valid California driver’s license
Responsibilities
- Drive linear and streaming advertising sales in San Francisco and CBS O&O markets
- Leverage established agency and client relationships in the SF market
- Grow and maintain direct advertiser relationships
- Develop quarterly and annual revenue plans
- Forecast sales weekly and quarterly
- Prospect and close non-traditional and new revenue streams
- Collaborate with internal teams (integrated marketing, traffic, finance)
- Partner with an Account Manager on campaign execution
- Maximize revenue around tentpole events (sports, specials, major news)
- Represent the stations at community and station-sponsored events
