About The Position

Primary point of contact for senior leaders and decision-makers at the world's most ambitious PE funds and their portfolio companies. This isn't a quota-carrying SaaS role - you're running multi-call, relationship-based engagements with people who've seen every pitch in the market. They trust you when it's clear you understand their business better than the consultant that came before you. What you own. Named PE fund coverage and portfolio relationships. The commercial motion - discovery, scoping, proposal, close - partnered with the engineering team. Portfolio performance once we're engaged; you're the person a managing partner calls when something is off.

Requirements

  • 3–7 years in investment banking, private equity, or top-tier management consulting
  • Demonstrated PE-client exposure
  • Credibility in a CFO's office
  • Fluent in the operational and financial detail of mid-market industrials
  • Bias toward substance
  • An operator who sells by being useful, not a relationship salesperson

Responsibilities

  • Named PE fund coverage and portfolio relationships
  • Manage the commercial motion including discovery, scoping, proposal, and close, in partnership with the engineering team
  • Oversee portfolio performance once engaged, serving as the point of contact for managing partners regarding any issues.
