About The Position

As an Account Executive, you will be the primary point of contact for international customers, managing both new acquisitions and existing client relationships. You will leverage your expertise in international air and ocean freight to provide comprehensive advice across various transport routes and modes. Your role involves monitoring the international logistics market, analyzing customer needs, and presenting findings. You will also be responsible for impressing customers through presentations, discussions, and price negotiations, while maintaining cost awareness and adhering to budgets. Regular national and international customer visits are a key part of this role, requiring proactive planning of business trips.

Requirements

  • Passion for logistics and the global trade industry.
  • Commitment to quality, service, and customer satisfaction.
  • College degree in supply chain management and logistics.
  • Several years of professional experience in the international logistics sector.
  • Well-versed in sea and air freight.
  • Strong communication skills and instinct for counterpart.
  • Enjoyment of business travel, including regular and longer trips.
  • Proficiency in English communication.

Responsibilities

  • Acquire new customers and develop existing customer relationships.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for international customers, addressing their concerns.
  • Provide comprehensive advice to customers on international air and ocean freight across all transport routes and means of transportation.
  • Monitor the international logistics market and analyze developments.
  • Analyze customers and their requirements in detail and summarize findings in reports.
  • Present to customers and convince them in discussions and price negotiations.
  • Contribute to setting sales prices with cost awareness, while staying within budget.
  • Visit customers in person nationally and internationally.
  • Plan business trips proactively and regularly.
