About The Position

Acrisure is seeking an Account Executive to manage and grow a commercial insurance book of business. This role is responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing client renewals, and providing exceptional service throughout the policy lifecycle. The Account Executive will build strong relationships with clients, identify coverage needs, prepare insurance solutions, and support long-term account retention and growth. This position offers an opportunity for an insurance professional who enjoys balancing business development, client service, and relationship management within a collaborative team environment.

Requirements

  • Commercial insurance experience required
  • Experience managing commercial insurance accounts and renewals highly beneficial
  • Experience developing new business and growing client relationships beneficial
  • Strong understanding of commercial property and casualty insurance coverages
  • Excellent relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to balance sales, account management, and client service responsibilities
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency with agency management systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Active Property & Casualty license required or ability to obtain as required

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree beneficial
  • Professional insurance designations such as CIC, CISR, CRM, ARM, or CPCU beneficial

Responsibilities

  • Manage an assigned commercial insurance book of business while maintaining strong client relationships
  • Develop new business opportunities through referrals, prospecting, and existing client relationships
  • Lead the renewal process, including reviewing coverage, identifying client needs, and presenting renewal recommendations
  • Provide ongoing account servicing, including policy changes, endorsements, certificates of insurance, and coverage questions
  • Work directly with carrier partners to obtain competitive coverage solutions and negotiate terms when appropriate
  • Identify opportunities to round accounts, cross-sell additional products, and strengthen client relationships
  • Maintain accurate documentation within agency management systems
  • Collaborate with internal service teams to ensure timely and accurate support for clients
  • Stay current on commercial insurance products, market conditions, and carrier offerings
  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned
