Your Impact: Account Executives are individual contributors who play a vital role in driving a significant share of revenue for Splunk and Cisco. We are seeking a hardworking, driven, sales professional to drive revenue growth calling on large enterprise accounts. We provide our Sales Reps with an environment in which they can make valuable contributions from day one, while also building opportunities for learning and growth. The work you’ll do will directly impact the experience of our customers. You will consistently deliver license, support, and service revenue targets - dedication to the number and deadlines. In addition, you will: Land, adopt, expand, and deepen sales opportunities. Explore the full spectrum of relationships and business possibilities across the client’s entire org chart. Become known as a thought-leader in machine learning and predictive analytics. Expand relationships and orchestrate complex deals across more diverse business stakeholders. Holistically embrace, access, and apply the channel to identify and open new, unchartered opportunities. Provide timely and informative input back to other corporate functions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of quota-carrying software sales experience, with 2+ years of selling enterprise SaaS, cybersecurity, observability, IT operations, or data-platform solutions.
  • Previous experience partnering with Sales Engineers, Customer Success, Marketing, Partners/Alliances, Professional Services, and executive leadership to advance complex opportunities.
  • 5+ years of experience developing and executing account plans for Enterprise Accounts, including identification of business priorities, buying centers, whitespace, competitive landscape, and expansion opportunities.
  • 5+ years of experience maintaining CRM opportunity data, next steps, close dates, deal values, stage progression, and forecast categories.

  • Ability to forecast quarterly revenue within an established sales methodology and cadence, including clear identification of risks, dependencies, and required actions.
  • Experience meeting sales targets across new business and existing customers within an assigned territory.
  • Incorporates market insights, emerging technologies, and competitive intelligence into customer-facing presentations, demonstrations, and sales engagements.
  • Builds and maintains trusted relationships with customers by understanding business needs, delivering relevant insights, and engaging key organizational stakeholders.
  • Collaborates cross-functionally to identify and resolve customer challenges.
