About The Position

This is an on-site role for an Account Executive selling Capital Factory program sponsorships. The role involves driving inbound and outbound sales activities to identify new prospective sponsors, presenting program solutions, negotiating sponsorships up to $100,000, creating sponsorship proposals, and managing sponsorship deliverables for all CF partners. The company emphasizes providing high-quality service, similar to the Four Seasons or Tiffany's, by paying attention to details, respecting client time, and doing whatever it takes with style. The company is the center of gravity for entrepreneurs in Texas, the number one startup state in the U.S., and has been the most active investor in Texas since 2010.

Requirements

  • Successful sales experience
  • Experience with the startup and technology markets
  • Ability to put together a killer proposal
  • Creative about structuring partnerships and think outside the box

  • Available to work at least 45 hours per week
  • Check email on the weekend and available to work during evening events and over the weekends when there is a tight deadline

  • Able to work in a quiet place where they can work remotely with fast internet

  • Available to work during SXSW (Spring Break), DREAMCON (two week long staff summits twice a year), and Austin Tech Week

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop relationships with potential community sponsors for Capital Factory events ranging from title sponsorships for Cornerstone Events (SXSW, Austin Tech Week, Fed Supernova, and Health Supernova) to smaller community events, like Cup of Capital.
  • Remain the point of contact for prospective community sponsors while liaising between sponsor contacts and Capital Factory.
  • Prepare, deliver and close contracts for sponsorships outlining deliverables and ensuring deliverables are met.
