About The Position

Bentley Mills, Inc. is searching for an Account Executive for the Indiana state territory. The Account Executive will pro-actively promote and represent Bentley, develop new and existing design, dealer and end use customers in the designated territory. The Account Executive will work closely with Bentley dealers and customers to ensure completion of projects within budget. The Account Executive will develop a strategic market segment plan with the Sales Manager and local sales team to take advantage of all available end-use customer targets. This person will be responsible for maintaining successful and mutually beneficial business relationships with customers and prospective customers in the designated territory. This position reports to the Regional Vice President of Sales of Bentley. The Account Executive will be responsible for managing their expenses, complying with safety rules, environmental regulations and all other Company Policies and Procedures.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years experience handling a sales territory in the carpet industry or related field required.
  • A bachelor’s degree or similar educational background required.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Ability and means to travel on a flexible schedule as needed.
  • Proof of liability and property damage insurance on vehicle used is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with generating options, alternatives, and solutions for customers to successfully grow the business in this territory preferred.
  • Knowledge of local markets to include: accounts and contacts in the territory, market dynamics and their effect on projects preferred.
  • Proficient knowledge of Lotus SmartSuite/Microsoft Office preferred.
