About The Position

The Account Executive actively seeks and closes customer engagements for Synario. The Account Executive has a proven ability to independently develop, manage, and close a pipeline of business to fulfill annual quotas in excess of $1 million dollars. PFM is a recognized national leader in providing financial and consulting advice to public sector, non-profit and other institutional entities. For more than forty years, PFM has advised many of the country’s largest municipal and institutional entities including states, counties, municipalities, townships, boroughs, authorities, school districts, not-for-profit organizations, and pension funds. The firm has more than 350 employees located in every region of the country. Synario is our best-in-class, cloud-based, multi-year financial planning solution. Synario CFOs, finance directors, and other C-Level executives leverage the platform to understand the future financial impacts of their decisions, and communicate those impacts to their Boards, investors, bankers, and other stakeholders. Synario clientele historically include colleges and universities, utilities, transportation agencies, and various for-profit companies. Synario is looking to expand into other strategic markets.

Requirements

  • At least five (5) years of experience in B2B software sales
  • Experience leading a consultative, relationship-based sales process that helps prospects discover value and fit within their organization
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship now or in the future
  • Ability to engage and motivate C-level executives
  • Ability to handle complex sales processes with multiple stakeholders
  • A deep understanding of software usage and pain points
  • Ability to be coached, acknowledge strengths and weaknesses, and seek and respond to feedback

Nice To Haves

  • Higher education, public utility or other public sector technology sales experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage your own assigned account based and/or segment-based sales pipeline
  • Work closely with our marketing team and Sales Engineers to drive qualified leads into your funnel through direct outreach and inbound marketing
  • Manage prospecting campaigns, conferences, and other events
  • Drive and manage the sales process
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes
  • Report activity consistently and accurately to management
