About The Position

This position requires you to work 100% on-site at our HQ in Columbus, OH. BBI is looking for competitive, confident, and passionate individuals to join our growing team. As an Account Executive, you will focus on the fast-paced brokerage aspect of our business. You will create and manage your individual book of business through constant communication with carriers and customers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation; Creatively self-generate leads and qualify prospects
  • Cold Call; Execute 60+ cold calls daily to build relationships and grow your client base
  • Negotiate and Market Research; Stay up to date on industry trends to provide and negotiate freight costs to customers and carriers
  • Account Management; Efficiently oversee freight movement, addressing problems using our proprietary TMS software
  • Problem Solving; Proactively communicate with high sense of urgency when resolving issues and provide updates to customers and carriers
