About The Position

This is a Regular Full-Time Account Executive position at KRIV/KTXH – FOX 26 Houston / My 20 Vision. The position involves leveraging the scale and resources of Fox Corporation and Fox Television Stations to lead the Houston television market by broadcasting the highest volume of local news. Beyond broadcast, the role provides sophisticated, best-in-class Digital offerings designed to be comprehensive marketing solutions, enabling partners to achieve measurable results at every stage of the advertising purchase funnel. This is an amazing opportunity for an experienced Account Executive to generate digital and broadcast advertising revenue for Houston, TX.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Video Advertising Business Development and Sales.
  • Digital ad sales savvy with a proven track record of developing new business and achieving measurable success in the digital space.
  • A skilled negotiator and motivator capable of managing complex deals and driving accounts from lead to close.
  • Possesses excellent organizational, time management, written & verbal communication skills.
  • Must be proficient with computers and cloud-based communication applications.
  • Ability to accurately forecast revenue based on pipelines and pending deals.
  • Must have or be willing to obtain reliable transportation and have a valid, local driver’s license.
  • Proven success in digital and ad sales.

Nice To Haves

  • A college degree is preferred.
  • Experience with WideOrbit is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Generate Revenue by selling a suite of cutting-edge digital advertising solutions across our key brands, including FLX, FOX Local, TUBI, FOX Sports, and fox26houston.com, as well as unique multi-screen promotional sponsorships.
  • Drive Business Growth by developing and implementing sales strategies (independently and with sales management) to consistently grow revenue and exceed sales goals.
  • Cultivate Client Relationships by meeting and communicating regularly with clients and agencies to maintain strong partnerships and expedite the closing process.
  • Lead the Sales Process by presenting, negotiating, and developing unique and valuable advertising packages to new and existing clients.
  • Manage Accounts efficiently, including processing transactional business, developing advertising schedules with station personnel, and ensuring the timely completion of all administrative tasks.
  • Maintain a high level of communication with station and corporate management, sales staff, and internal station personnel.
  • Participate in sales training and meetings to stay current on product offerings, market trends, and other key information.
