About The Position

The Role We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Account Executive to join our sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for selling our premier dealership management and relationship software, specifically focusing on CRM and iDMS. These solutions are designed to streamline the sales and repair process, improve customer retention, and increase profitability for automotive independent dealers. As an Account Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving Solera’s growth by identifying, engaging, and closing new business opportunities.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Account Executive, Sales Representative, or similar role, preferably within the automotive or software-as-a-service (SaaS) industry.
  • Strong understanding of the automotive industry and the challenges faced by independent dealers in managing customer relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets in a B2B environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to quickly understand and communicate complex technical information, particularly regarding software integrations and data flow.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce) and sales engagement tools (Outreach).

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Identify and target potential clients within the independent dealer industry.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads through cold calling, networking, and other sales strategies.
  • Conduct in-depth needs assessments to understand the specific challenges and goals of prospective clients.
  • Present tailored solutions that demonstrate the value of our CRM and iDMS platforms in meeting those needs.
  • Deliver compelling presentations and live demonstrations of CRM and iDMS software, highlighting key features, integrations, customer journey tracking, and ROI to decision-makers.
  • Lead the negotiation process, addressing client concerns and objections, and working to close deals that align with company goals.
  • Secure long-term contracts and partnerships with new clients.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term success.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing ongoing support to help clients maximize the value of the Solera platform.
  • Work closely with the marketing, product development, and customer success teams to align sales efforts with overall business objectives.
  • Maintain flawless records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status in Salesforce and Outreach.
  • Provide regular, data-driven updates and reports to the sales leadership team.
