About The Position

We’re looking for an Account Executive who can own the full sales cycle and help banks, credit unions, and fintechs understand how Themis can transform the way they manage governance, risk, and compliance. In this role you’ll be responsible for sourcing, qualifying, and closing new business across a portfolio of financial institutions and fintechs. You’ll run discovery, lead product demonstrations alongside our team, navigate complex evaluations, and build the business case that earns the trust of compliance, risk, and executive stakeholders. The ideal candidate pairs strong sales fundamentals with genuine curiosity about the regulated environments our customers operate in. You are comfortable selling a technical, consultative product, you are organized and disciplined in how you manage a pipeline, and you take ownership of your number.

Requirements

  • Experience carrying and consistently meeting a quota in a B2B SaaS or financial services sales role
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles end to end
  • Strong discovery, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Comfort selling a technical or consultative product to sophisticated buyers
  • Ability to engage confidently with compliance, risk, operations, and executive stakeholders
  • Strong organizational, pipeline-management, and follow-through skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience selling into banks, credit unions, fintechs, or other regulated financial institutions
  • Familiarity with governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) or Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) concepts
  • Experience selling compliance, risk, security, or other regulatory technology
  • Experience working in a startup or high-growth company
  • Familiarity with modern sales tooling and AI-assisted selling workflows

Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through close for a defined territory of banks, credit unions, and fintechs
  • Source and qualify new opportunities through outbound prospecting, inbound follow-up, events, and partner referrals
  • Build and maintain a healthy, accurately forecasted pipeline that consistently meets or exceeds quota
  • Develop territory and account plans that prioritize the highest-value opportunities
  • Run structured discovery to understand each prospect’s governance, risk, and compliance challenges
  • Lead compelling, tailored product demonstrations in partnership with sales engineering and customer success
  • Translate Themis capabilities into clear business value for compliance, risk, operations, and executive buyers
  • Manage multi-stakeholder evaluations, proof-of-concept engagements, and sandbox provisioning
  • Build business cases, proposals, and pricing aligned to customer needs and budget cycles
  • Navigate procurement, security, and legal reviews common in regulated financial services buyers
  • Negotiate and close contracts while setting customers up for a successful onboarding
  • Ensure clean handoffs to Customer Success after the deal is won
  • Maintain accurate records, forecasts, and activity data in the CRM
  • Share market and prospect feedback with Product, Marketing, and Leadership
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our sales playbooks and processes
