•$112,000 - $184,800

About The Position

Under general direction, this role is responsible for the profitability, growth, and retention of an assigned book of business within a territory, consistent with overall business-line objectives. The position underwrites new and renewal business on complex commercial accounts and markets to agents and brokers to develop relationships and support business growth. It independently manages a territory and book of business, taking a portfolio view to manage profitability, and is routinely sought out as a resource. The role may coach less experienced employees and serves as a role model or informal leader, but does not manage others. The position develops and maintains agent and broker relationships, identifies new business and cross-selling opportunities, negotiates complex deals independently, and develops and executes plans to meet business objectives. It collaborates across the business unit and enterprise, may lead underwriting or agency meetings, and contributes to training and development of less experienced Account Executives.
