About The Position

Lumion is the AI-first operating system for trade and technical schools, managing the entire student journey from inquiry to graduation across engagement, enrollment, payments, and success. Their in-house payments engine is NMLS-licensed and boasts a high collection rate. Lumion addresses the significant shortage of skilled trades in America by supporting the schools that train electricians, welders, and nurses. With seven years in operation, Lumion powers over 500 schools and is backed by TTV Capital and Tusk Venture Partners. This Account Executive role is central to Lumion's growth, focusing on winning mid-sized and growing accounts that require a strategic partnership rather than just a tool. The role involves owning the full consultative sales cycle for these accounts, which typically have multiple decision-makers and a thorough evaluation process.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of full-cycle, new-business sales experience.
  • Track record of hitting quota on deals involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Consultative sales approach.
  • Ability to run a longer sales cycle without losing momentum.
  • Ability to keep a multi-stakeholder deal moving.
  • Self-starter with a track record of exceeding goals in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle on mid-sized and growing accounts, from first call to signed contract.
  • Run discovery, demos, and presentations with school leadership teams, often involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Build a business case, not just a pitch.
  • Own an accurate forecast.
  • Build a point of view on how Lumion fits against alternatives schools are evaluating and communicate this to marketing and product teams.
  • Ensure a clean, well-documented transition to Customer Success for accounts with real complexity.
