About The Position

Cities are living, breathing organisms, and right now, many of them are stuck in gridlock. As an Account Executive at Miovision, you are the primary driver of the "green light." Your mission is to help municipalities trade traffic frustrations for smart, fluid urban environments that simply flow. You aren't just selling tech; you are clearing the path for safer intersections and steering initiatives that directly reduce congestion. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities within a defined territory. You will act as the primary point of contact for municipal stakeholders, driving the adoption of Miovision's hardware and software products by aligning our solutions with their specific infrastructure goals.

Requirements

  • Proven experience selling technology to public and private sector (B2B and B2G).
  • Consultative selling methodologies, and how to navigate long cycles and public procurement processes (RFPs).
  • Understanding of the Mobility, ITS, or Traffic Engineering landscape.
  • Build territory plans and maintain a robust, multi-stage pipeline of opportunities (Salesforce or similar CRM proficiency is a must).
  • Equally comfortable navigating the nuances of software systems and hardware-integrated traffic solutions and you can effectively communicate the value of both.
  • Thrive on finding new business and have a proven track record of navigating multi-dimensional, complex sales environments.
  • Advanced negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to influence mid-to-senior level municipal stakeholders.
  • Highly self-motivated and comfortable operating autonomously in a fast-paced, evolving industry.
  • Excel at creating external visibility and fostering internal collaboration.
  • Ready to get out into the field, meet customers, and represent us at major trade shows (up to 30%).
  • Fluent English and at least one other Nordic language.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets by prioritizing high-value prospects within a defined territory.
  • Independently manage the end-to-end sales process, from discovery and needs analysis to contract negotiation and closing.
  • Make prospecting part of your regular routine.
  • Develop and execute territory plans that maintain a robust, multi-stage pipeline of opportunities.
  • Champion our full suite of solutions, including Traffic Planning, Traffic Operations, Emergency Vehicle Preemption, Transit Signal Priority, and any other solutions available to market in the territory.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to city departments to uncover their needs and articulate the value of Miovision's solutions.
  • Lead the coordination and development of RFP and RFI responses to position Miovision as the preferred vendor for modern traffic solutions.
  • Use Salesforce with discipline to provide leadership with accurate forecasts and clear visibility into your pipeline.
  • Stay sharp on market challenges and the competitive landscape to effectively position Miovision’s value proposition.
  • Work collaboratively with Partners, Business Development and Marketing teams to launch regional campaigns.
  • Engage an array of external influencers such as City Departments, City Mobility, Open Data, Engineering Firms, Academics, Consultants, etc.
  • Represent Miovision in person on site with clients and at major trade shows.
