About The Position

We Know Training (WKT) is seeking an Account Executive to drive net-new business growth across Ontario and Eastern Canada. This role involves selling WKT's training platform and content to Training Managers and L&D leaders in regulated industries. WKT operates across eight specialized brands in sectors like occupational safety, transportation, and financial services licensing. This is a "hunting" role where you will own your territory, build your pipeline, and close deals. The position is anchored in financial and professional services, and the ideal candidate will have a background in finance or insurance with an established network in that space to leverage for immediate impact. The role offers the opportunity to help organizations improve safety, compliance, and performance with industry-leading training solutions, and to grow with a rapidly expanding company. You will join a collaborative team that values accountability, curiosity, drive, nimbleness, and relationship-building.

Requirements

  • Finance or insurance background, with experience selling into or working within the financial services or insurance sector.
  • Established network of contacts in the financial services or insurance space for warm outreach and strategic entry points.
  • Proven success in a consultative, outbound B2B sales or account management role, with a history of meeting or exceeding targets and managing high-value deals focused on long-term value.
  • Strong communication skills, with confidence presenting to senior decision-makers and Training Managers.
  • Tech fluency, including comfort with CRM systems (FreshSales is a bonus), AI tools like Claude and ChatGPT, LinkedIn, and AI-powered sales engagement platforms.
  • Meticulous pipeline hygiene, activity tracking, and deal documentation.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with licensing and CE, including an understanding of the professional licensing and continuing-education world (LLQP, CIRO or similar).
  • Fluency in French.

Responsibilities

  • Own Eastern Canada territory by building and working a named target account list of large employers in regulated industries across Ontario and the East, prioritizing accounts by potential.
  • Hunt net-new business by running structured discovery to understand client pain points, demonstrating the platform, and closing deals.
  • Lead consultative demos, virtually and in person, that build trust and long-term value without pressure tactics.
  • Own expansion and new-scope conversations within major accounts, as standard renewals are handled by the Delivery team.
  • Work as part of a national team, partnering with the Western Canada Account Executive on a shared playbook and workflows.
  • Run a disciplined pipeline by maintaining accurate, up-to-date records in the CRM (FreshSales), tracking every lead, touchpoint, and deal stage.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary + quarterly team bonus
  • Comprehensive benefits (Health, dental, and more)
  • Corporate RRSP program
  • Professional development opportunities
  • Collaborative, inclusive environment
  • Remote flexibility (work remotely in the Greater Toronto Area, with travel as needed)
