About The Position

This role is responsible for supporting and demonstrating IMA’s core values, including diversity, equity, and inclusion. The Account Executive will independently manage Cyber Risk and Commercial E&O placements for both new and renewal business. This includes participating in RFPs, assessing client needs and exposures, marketing, negotiating, and placing coverage. They will also be responsible for preparing proposals, adhering to workflows, managing carrier relationships, ensuring best-in-class coverage, and delivering client presentations. Claims advocacy and providing sophisticated education on Cyber Risk/Commercial E&O exposures, loss trends, regulatory matters, and risk transfer options to internal associates, prospects, and clients are also key responsibilities. The role may involve participation in the ClientX Process and inter-division collaboration to drive growth and client satisfaction. Proficiency with EPIC/Agency Management workflow and other IMA organizational workflows is required. Additionally, the Account Executive will support the placement and brokering of SME and Mid-Market accounts across the IMA enterprise, manage an assigned book of business, and serve as a product expert for the IMA Cyber Portal in collaboration with the SME and Digital Strategy Leader.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience placing Cyber insurance
  • Four-year college degree required, higher education preferred
  • P&C license required
  • Expert MS Office products
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills required
  • Expert Client Facing Skills (ability to build confidence, articulate complex concepts, deliver challenging messages)
  • Travel required as needed for RFP presentations, client presentations, internal/external networking

Responsibilities

  • Independently responsible for CRS engagement for both new and renewal placements, including RFP participation, assessment of client needs and exposures, marketing, negotiation and placement, preparation of proposals, adherence to CRS/IMA retail workflows, carrier relationships, best in class coverage, and client presentations.
  • Claims advocacy.
  • Provide internal associates (service and sales), prospects and external clients/policyholders sophisticated education and product deliverables about Cyber Risk/Commercial E&O exposures, loss trends, regulatory matters and risk transfer options.
  • As requested, participation in the ClientX Process – Internal Reviews, Business Reviews and various other stages/requests as needed.
  • As needed, Inter-division collaboration with Sales/Marketing, Communications, Business Consulting, Client Advantage – ERM and various other teams to drive organizational growth and client satisfaction.
  • Proficiency with EPIC/Agency Management workflow as well as other IMA organizational workflows/processes.
  • Responsible for supporting the placement and brokering of SME and Mid-Market accounts across the IMA enterprise, including management of an assigned book of business.
  • In collaboration with the SME and Digital Strategy Leader, enhance IMA’s Cyber Digital Strategy and serve as a product expert for the IMA Cyber Portal across the IMA enterprise.
