About The Position

5D is building an AI platform for real asset decisions, transforming complex financial documents, leases, models, and data rooms into structured intelligence. This role is a closing position within the sales team, focusing on enterprise deals in the commercial real estate sector. The ideal candidate will leverage their existing domain expertise in commercial real estate to connect with potential buyers, understand their pain points, and sell the company's AI platform. While existing relationships are valuable, the role emphasizes a drive to learn and master the craft of selling, including pipeline generation and closing deals. The company is looking for individuals who can think systematically, improve processes, and are seeking a high-growth career path.

Requirements

  • 4–10 years in commercial real estate, buy-side, brokerage, REIT/corporate, or RE consulting
  • You know the workflows our product replaces because you ran them yourself.
  • You have credibility and relationships with the people who buy this — but you're not looking to coast on contacts alone.
  • You're genuinely hungry to learn the craft of selling and prospecting, not just trade on your network.
  • You think in systems, and you see a broken process and ask "how do I make this 3x better?"
  • You're ready to trade the familiar for a steeper, higher-ceiling path, eyes open.
  • You're happy in-office 3x/week in midtown.

Responsibilities

  • Own and close complex enterprise deals end to end, into the firms whose workflows you already understand.
  • Build a self-generated pipeline and the replicable playbook that future hires run on.
  • Design your own sales methodology and the tracking to prove it — you'll test and iterate weekly, not quarterly.
  • Use your domain fluency to demonstrate transformational ROI and turn wins into case studies.
  • Partner with Product, Solutions, and Engineering, translating what you know about this industry into roadmap direction.
  • Contribute to pricing, packaging, and how we take this to market, you're early enough to shape it.
