About The Position

As an Account Executive, you will be focused on winning new business by delivering comprehensive Commercial Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance solutions to clientele. As your portfolio grows, you will retain ownership of said clientele, ensuring client retention and working towards growing Gallagher’s partnership with all of our clientele. Gallagher’s expansive network of resources will be a major enabler.

Requirements

  • Proven sales ability driven by a client-centric problem solving approach, consistently delivering tailored solutions that enable clients to achieve their key objectives.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and prioritize effectively to exceed client expectations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to develop deep relationships with clients and build synergy with colleagues.
  • Highly tech-savvy, with the ability to learn new systems, tools and processes with ease.
  • 2+ years commercial broking experience preferred.
  • Active and in good standing Insurance License required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with specialized insurance products or industry segments.
  • CAIB, CIP, CRM or other relevant certifications/designations.
  • Knowledge of EPIC.

Responsibilities

  • Generate new business income, identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities and concierge the client through the binding process.
  • Delivering Gallagher’s comprehensive commercial insurance solutions, working with c-suite.
  • Support and develop a portfolio of Clientele, playing a lead role in business retention, and continually building upon customer relationships.
  • Partnering with Gallagher’s service, marketing and administrative teams – deliver accurate and timely delivery of renewals for your portfolio of clientele, taking the necessary steps in placing coverage required by the client, re-marketing when required, and working towards binding clientele.
  • Acting to keep current with insurance markets and changing coverages within the industry, including participating in insurer networking events.
