This position is remote-eligible; however, we prefer candidates who are able to sit in one of our HUB offices in the tri-state area.

Requirements

  • College degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in brokerage, consulting, or insurance company
  • Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Computer literate in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Highly detail-oriented
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Must have valid P&C license

Responsibilities

  • Service and monitor assigned accounts, tracking and disseminating account activity as needed. All lines of coverage.
  • Evaluate existing coverages and proactively recommend improvements or enhancements
  • Round out accounts by identifying and pursuing coverage gaps and growth opportunities
  • Ensure proper disposition of items on expiration lists
  • Participate in client and prospect meetings
  • Prepare specifications and applications for new and renewal business marketing
  • Market specialized coverages as needed
  • Formulate and present proposals to clients
  • Maintain heavy client contact to ensure satisfaction and address needs promptly
  • Conduct client visits as necessary
  • Attend client meetings as needed
  • Negotiate with insurance carriers on behalf of clients
  • Receive, review, and forward invoices, policies, endorsements, and related documents
  • Authorize the release of Certificates of Insurance, ACORD Binders, and Placement Requests
  • Review and audit policies for compliance with internal procedures and binder specifications
  • Review contracts as required
  • Attend client and carrier meetings
  • Pursue ongoing professional development
