About The Position

As an Account Development Manager, you will grow new sales through assigned Pittsburgh Paints Company stores, growing both existing business year-over-year and developing new accounts within the commercial, industrial, new home construction, residential repaint, and many other architectural opportunities. You will report to the Regional Manager and work onsite, based in the Dallas market.

Requirements

• Results-driven sales representative with experience growing underpenetrated territories, prospecting, and closing new business, and representing the company with credibility, professionalism, and integrity.
• High school diploma required.
• 3+ years of previous sales experience with stellar customer service acuity.
• Daily travel within your assigned territory; must possess valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

• Preferred industry experience, with a successful history of Commercial Account management/sales.
• Higher-level education degree in a business-related field.
• CRM software experience preferred.
• Previous coatings experience is highly sought after.

Responsibilities

• Ensure outstanding customer service is provided to existing customer accounts by keeping up to date with current promotions, new products, and with current customer service practices to find opportunities for growth.
• Develop account planning strategies, sales opportunities, accounts with growth potential, and understand existing business and the segments they serve.
• Use Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool to run accounts, maintain call logs and contact info, run reports, etc.
• Collaborate with store managers and employees to ensure customers' needs are met or exceeded.
• Facilitate and provide accurate customer quotes to achieve margin targets in alignment with pricing strategies.
