About The Position

Kentucky Trust Company, located in Danville, Kentucky is looking for an Account Administrator to work with a broad and diverse range of clients in our wealth management division. We are seeking a dedicated, self-motivated candidate who has a strong desire to build relationships and provide outstanding service for our clients and is interested in learning and developing a career within the wealth management industry. The associate will be encouraged to engage in continual learning and development activities and will be supported in pursuing progress toward industry-related certifications.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Attention to detail, with analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal, math and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
  • Willingness to learn and grow
  • Professional, client-focused approach to tasks
  • Proficient use of applicable technology, including Excel and Word, with ability to learn use of account management software
  • Ability to work in team environment as well as independently

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate client relationships and assist investment advisors as appropriate on assigned accounts and new business
  • Acquire and maintain financial industry credentials as appropriate
  • Work with industry professionals such as attorneys and accountants on various issues
  • Manage opening, closing and ongoing administration for assigned accounts
  • Perform Trust, IRA, Estate administration duties as assigned
  • Become proficient with Maui account program, Account Review and Risk Manager (ARRM) program, Client Online Portal and other programs as needed
  • Review legal and financial documents
  • Review end of year tax information for assigned accounts
  • Perform annual review of assigned accounts
  • Manage and process contributions and distributions as appropriate
