Evaluate new vehicle accessories to ensure the quality levels meet or exceed requirements ensuring no impact to KPIs (JD Power IQS, VDS, and Consumer Reports). Install and remove accessories, for the purpose of evaluating them. Evaluate the installation difficulty, quality of the instructions, the accessory function, and participate in instrumented tests as required for the specific type of accessory. Document the process with a clear and concise report in the standard format. Follow up with vendors (MPA) and/or appropriate parties (HATCI, Accessory Planning/Engineering, Port etc.) to address accessory quality related concerns. This includes identifying, documenting (via Quality Info Report), communicating the quality concern and following up until the quality concern is resolved and/or the supplier/vendor can provide firm countermeasure dates and field fix instructions. Perform other related duties as assigned by Project Manager.
