About The Position

The IT Accessibility Analyst plays a key role in supporting that mission by reviewing technology purchases, identifying accessibility issues, and helping departments choose tools that meet accessibility standards. This role is part of the IT procurement process, meaning your evaluations directly shape what technology the institution approves and adopts. As the IT Accessibility Analyst, you are responsible for making sure new digital tools and software purchased are accessible and inclusive. You do this by reviewing vendor documentation, testing products where needed, identifying accessibility risks, and making written recommendations that guide purchasing decisions. Your work ensures they stay compliant with federal/state accessibility requirements and upholds its internal accessibility policies—while helping departments choose tools that work for everyone.
