About The Position
We are seeking experienced Security Technicians for a long-term project in a Data Center environment. Technicians will be responsible for the installation, wiring, and termination of access control and video surveillance systems. Candidates should have experience installing devices such as card readers, cameras and related low voltage security equipment. Experience with maglocks and door strikes is a strong plus.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in low voltage/security installation
- Experience with access control systems and CCTV installation
- Familiarity with card readers, maglocks, and door strikes preferred
- Ability to read basic prints and follow installation layouts
- Comfortable working in active Data Center environments
- Reliable transportation and ability to work early start times
Nice To Haves
- Experience with maglocks and door strikes
Responsibilities
- Installing and wiring access control systems and CCTV cameras
- Mounting and terminating low voltage devices
- Running and dressing cable in a Data Center environment
- Assisting with testing and troubleshooting of systems
- Following site safety procedures and project standards
- Working closely with project managers and lead technicians to complete installations on schedule
