Access Control Security Officer
About The Position
The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring premises and patrolling locations. Officers preserve order by enforcing client-site regulations and directives concerning personnel, visitors, and the area. They observe and report activities and incidents, help protect client property and personnel, and frequently provide customer service and information to employees and customers. The role may be suitable for people with retail, food service, or hospitality experience; training is provided for those new to the security industry.
Requirements
- Two years of customer service experience.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Computer skills.
- Pass a drug screen and background check.
- Meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers or Guards.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including frequent sitting, standing, and walking, sometimes for long periods, and potentially climbing stairs and walking on inclines and uneven terrain.
- Ability to frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.
