About The Position

BizTek People is in search of an Academic Services Assistant for our client in Portland, OR! We are seeking an Academic Services Assistant to provide front-desk, administrative, faculty governance, and operational support within a fast-paced academic environment. This position serves as a primary point of contact for faculty, staff, students, and visitors.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of general office or administrative/secretarial experience
Additional education and/or office experience required based on degree level
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and database applications
Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills
Ability to take initiative and manage competing priorities
Comfortable working with diverse groups of faculty, staff, students, and community partners
Strong teamwork skills and flexibility to support different assignments
Epic experience required
References and employment verification required
Must be comfortable working in an onsite, professional academic environment
Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive materials

Nice To Haves

2+ years of experience preferred based on submission requirements

Responsibilities

Provide front-desk support and assist faculty, staff, students, and visitors
Manage incoming mail, packages, office supplies, and deliveries
Provide administrative support to leadership and academic teams
Coordinate meeting schedules, agendas, minutes, and confidential materials
Maintain SharePoint sites and meeting documentation
Provide basic technology and Webex meeting support
Assist with classroom/conference room technology questions
Support facilities and operational requests as needed
Assist with exam proctoring
Help coordinate orientations, graduations, celebrations, and other school-wide events
